The user will periodically instruct Credit Card/400 to build Data Collection (Settlement) batch files and send them to the Remote Gateway for processing. The user then selects the Settlement request option. The Credit Card/400 example system's settlement request is shown. 

These processes will probably be completely automated by the developer, but the example shows all data the developer must be concerned with.
